district55_mapDEMO (2)Republican Todd Russ, beats Democrat and wins House Seat 55.  For the first time ever a Republican has won HD 55.  Oh what a night, Russ wins race back in October, what a win what a night!

“I will stand for Godly values and Godly leadership in government. We as citizens have let government take prayer out of our schools, take the Ten Commandments out of our capitols, and they continue to tell us as Christians to be quiet about our fundamental beliefs. Our Christian values are the very things that have made our state and nation so great. We as rural Oklahomans greatly influence the standards of our nation because we are part of the Bible Belt. We must engage ourselves in the political process and support a leader that is willing to stand for these values regardless of party pressures.

Just Say No To Obama

Sign on MarqueeI have this on the marquee out front of my office. Two-three cars a day stop and take pictures of the sign. I  have had a number of people stop by and thank me for the sign. I have never met most of the individuals that have taken the time to say thank you. I have no idea if  the picture takers are Republican or Democrats.

Why Won’t Conservative Republicans Run

Two of the most important elected offices locally are School Board and City Council. However, these elected offices are often void of conservative Republicans. Why is this?

For the first time in state history both the Senate and House are controlled by the Republicans.  This is a good thing.  That is as long as the Republicans govern and not try to rewrite legislation to empower themselves and remove local control in government and the process of elections.
