Now compare that with Bankruptcies, foreclosures and economic stress and you get a pretty good idea of current effects. What you don’t get is a discernable trend for tommorrow because derivatives, T-bill/ bond market futures and the mood of domestic and foreign investors are not yet reported or fully understood. But when the Federal government begins buying it’s own debt, then look out. because no one else will. The next play is extreme hyper-inflation of the currency.
This Will Fix The Economy
Posted by: | CommentsThe Business Section asked readers for ideas on “How Would You Fix the
Economy?” I think this guy nailed it!
Dear Mr. President:
Please find below my suggestion for fixing America ’s economy.
Instead of giving billions of dollars to companies that will squander the
money on lavish parties and unearned bonuses, use the following plan.
You can call it the Patriotic Retirement Plan:
There are about 40 million people over 50 in the work force.
Pay them $1 million apiece severance for early retirement with the following
stipulations:
1) They MUST retire. Forty million job openings -
Unemployment fixed.
2) They MUST buy a new American CAR. Forty million cars ordered-
Auto Industry fixed.
3) They MUST either buy a house or pay off their mortgage -
Housing Crisis fixed.
It can’t get any easier than that! If more money is needed, have all
members of Congress pay all their taxes…..
Every day you read in the news paper and see on the nightly news about the down turn in the economy. Don’t let that get you down. Just do not participate in the recession. Your business can survive and succeed in any recession by following these practical business tips. Once you read them, you will say “wow those are so simple and practical.” Good luck.
1) Don’t just sell a product – sell your company and a lifestyle.
2) Passion for the product trumps most other components. Show your passion for your products and services. Show an urgency to use them.
3) Develop a community for your customs. Use Facebook and newsletters to get your customers engaged with each other. If they know they are not alone as your customer they will grow in loyalty. Read More→
