Western Oklahoma House Seat Goes To Todd Russ

Republican Todd Russ, beats Democrat and wins House Seat 55. For the first time ever a Republican has won HD 55. Oh what a night, Russ wins race back in October, what a win what a night!
“I will stand for Godly values and Godly leadership in government. We as citizens have let government take prayer out of our schools, take the Ten Commandments out of our capitols, and they continue to tell us as Christians to be quiet about our fundamental beliefs. Our Christian values are the very things that have made our state and nation so great. We as rural Oklahomans greatly influence the standards of our nation because we are part of the Bible Belt. We must engage ourselves in the political process and support a leader that is willing to stand for these values regardless of party pressures.

Some folks passing through Texarkana last week noted signs in people’s yards that said, ” America, prayer is our only hope” with 2 Chron. 7:14 underneath. We certainly need God’s help!
I have no idea who started this, but I certainly agree with this e-mail. I heard a preacher say “if we pray for our nation, things will turn around”.
I have decided to reach out to my friends and relatives and ask you to do something that has been troubling me for a long time.
Our nation is/has been on the slippery slope for a long time. If you look around you will find corruption, greed, moral decay, and a steady move away from the things that made us great. The principles upon which this nation was founded are no longer our backbone. However, we can reverse this trend.
2 Chron. 7:14 in God’s word he states, “If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their Land.”
I am convinced that we must pray for our nation and its leaders and ask for forgiveness So I ask you to join me in this plea to our Lord.
Would you please send this to people in your address book (send it to all believers); ask them to pray EVERYDAY.
25 to only the 5th power is 9,765,625 people. IMAGINE if each person reaches TEN others…or all TWENTY FIVE!
If you do and they comply, we will lift up millions and millions of prayers a day to our Creator. He will hear, and will answer.
Let me just add a quote from Ronald Reagan “If we ever forget that we are one nation under God, then we will be a nation gone under.” I truly believe this is why the United States of America is in the shape we are in today. Most people have forgotten that we are one nation under God! Let us as Christians stand up and remind people of this. ~ Have a blessed day!
No Place For Bible Study.
Posted by: | CommentsChristians attacked and arrested for handing out tracts at Daton, Ohio University. Bibles burned in Afghanistan and now home invasion for having a Bible study. Ever since Obama was elected President we have seen more attacks against Christians. Do you see a pattern here?

A San Diego pastor and his wife claim they were interrogated by a county official and warned they will face escalating fines if they continue to hold Bible studies in their home.
The couple, whose names are being withheld until a demand letter can be filed on their behalf, told their attorney a county government employee knocked on their door on Good Friday, asking a litany of questions about their Tuesday night Bible studies, which are attended by approximately 15 people.
“Do you have a regular weekly meeting in your home? Do you sing? Do you say ‘amen’?” the official reportedly asked. “Do you say, ‘Praise the Lord’?”

Christians Celebrate Easter

We are a Christian Nation founded on Biblical principles. The fact is that the majority of the signers of the Declaration of Independence were Christians. Obama is going around the world the telling other nations that the United States is not a Christian Nation, not a Jewish Nation or a Muslim Nation.
He goes on to say we consider ourselves a nation who is bound by ideas and a set of values. So Obama has values. But Obama’s values are based on what? Reverend Jeremiah Wright?
Excuse me, Obama – the United State of America is a Christian Nation. Just because you are ashamed of Christian values, do not lump the majority of Americans in with your socialist/atheist views. American does not owe any country an apology!

As Christians gather to celebrate Easter this Sunday, the latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 88% of adults nationwide think the person known to history as Jesus Christ actually walked the earth 2,000 years ago. That’s up five points from a year ago. Today, 5% disagree and 7% are not sure.
Eighty-two percent (82%) also believe that Jesus Christ was the son of God who came to Earth and died for our sins.
