The Oklahoma County Republican Party raised $77,729 (gross) in 2008 and gave $26,750 of that to candidates. In the 2 years under the leadership of Pam Pollard, Oklahoma County raised (gross) $104,975, according to the latest ethics report. Oklahoma County Chair Pam Pollard was quick to respond to the national popularity of Vice President Sarah Palin and ordered McCain/Palin merchandise while attending the National Convention. Pam Pollard is a great example for other counties chairs to follow. Raising money for candidates is one of the most important functions of the county party. It will be very interesting to see what other counties raised for candidates? How much money did your county raise? How much money did your county give to candidates?
Congratulations to Pam and the Executive Committee in Oklahoma County for working so diligently raising money for Republican state and local candidates.
Bob
