Charley Gray has His Problems
Ethics Commission reports show Gray has received a thousand dollars from lobbyist Tommy Thomas whose clients include Able Trucking. Gray says he “had no idea Able Trucking was one of his clients, but I can’t check into every one. And so long as he says he’s not going to appear on their behalf at the Commission, that meets my test.”
Gray only received 15-thousand dollars in individual contributions in the last two months. He says in addition to the contributor slip required by the Ethics Commission, he has his contributors sign an additional statement saying they will not appear before the Commission.
