First of all, I am for a fine library system, and I applaud the efforts put forth by the current library administration in addressing the city’s needs.
However, a $50 million bond issue has to be out of the question. We voted down the proposal last May, while raising the much needed fire and police tax, as well as passing the millage bond that will show up on this year’s tax statements. How much more tax must the citizens of Norman pay?
