Why does the government have a right to a high percentage to my legally earned income?

HEY BOB – I hear form people on the far-left side of the traditional political septum nearly everyday that the government should set a cap on how much money a person can make. I hear form people on the far-left side of the traditional septum that government needs to promote the “general welfare” or the “common good”.

It is a safe to hypothesize that if you ask twenty different people what is the “general welfare” or the “common good” you will come up with forty different answers. The answers will be so diverse it would seem like your each person would be from a different planet. So why use the “common good” or the “general welfare” if there is no steadfast definition for those two terms.

I would also like to point out that is not absolutely not my responsibility to make sure every child as a place to sleep. It is absolutely not my responsibility nor my fault that some people can’t afford their mortgage. It is absolutely not my responsibility to make sure other peoples children have a good education.

Now before you start typing your Straw man or your ad hominem I would like to point out a couple of things. I used to be on the far-left of the political septum and was for many many years. I am not a Christian so please..if may don’t compare socialism as the government of “God”, since I am agnostic. Don’t call me a Conservative because I am not.

P.S: Is you may, Please forgive any grammar mistakes since I suffer from dyslexia. Any personal insult is not going to effect me in anyway so don’t even try.

Again, Charles Dickens was a novelist. I would rather hear quotes from Noam Chomsky rather then a passage form a novel!

      People need to realize that the United States of America is the world’s last great hope for Liberty. There is no other country on Earth that accepts the premise that the power to rule comes from God directly into the hands of the individual citizen who, in turn, lends that power to the Government in measured amounts on election day. As such, all wealth in the USA, is created by and belongs to the People who create or earn it. It is unconstitutional for the Federal Government to confiscate or redistribute it no matter how benevolent that Government may be.

      With this in mind, realize how much of an obstacle the USA is to world domination by Socialism. Most other countries are already Socialist and already failing. If not for the Capitalist powerhouse known as America, the Socialists would already dominate the world. That is why Socialists know, our system must be dismantled and the people misinformed about it.

      Why should you pay money to establishment?

      Because establishment is what allows your money to be worth anything. Without government, you’d be crying over your useless college degree as you try to feed your family in a world where the need for fine skills vanished under mob rule, as without a paid armed force and people paid to lead it, that kind of civilized nation died after a completely free of authority upper class decided not to play fair anymore and took all of the worlds resources, causing people like you to fight to feed yourselves and your children day to day.

      It’s really a matter of opinion. As far as I’m concerned, it is your responsibility to ensure all children have a good education and all members of society have the same opportunities to flourish as you do. As a member of society, you share that responsibility – whether you like it or not.

      first off id like to know how many people you know? is this the same rhetoric comming from the same person? because I know a few people on the far left and NONE of them think there should be salary caps. so please, stop trolling on that issue.

      If you have dyslexia, did you know that there is a spell checker on YA to the right of the screen? that will help a lot.

      as far as the rest of your question, It would seem to be a bit of a rant and less a question. I beg to say that it does not sound as if you do not really want an answer.
