Why do I, as a Conservative, like to communicate with Liberals?

Hey Bob – Why I like to communicate with Liberals is logical and not hard to figure out.

When I started to ask political questions on YA, I noticed that there were many Liberals answering my question who were generally insulting and profane.

A number of others, however, tried to express their beliefs in rational terms – not insulting or profane, and without going to the Liberal playbook.

But I viewed my questions and their answers as teachable moments. Those who abuse my questions typically don’t have return email addresses, these I block, while those who are honestly trying to answer the questions typically do have return email addresses.

Whichever they are, at most times I send a dopey reply. My feeling about this is that they get all their information from the so-called main stream media which reports things, such as, Conservatives, Tea Partiers, need to get back on their medications. This, in turn, sometimes, will get them to answer my communication.

This, then, is the teachable moment, my Liberal friends.

Conservatives, Tea Partiers, absolutely baffle and exasperate Liberals. Why? Because they appear to have solid beliefs while the Liberal is lucky if he can formulate some vague, hazy philosophy of things. When the Conservative, Tea Partier, argues with the Liberal, the Liberal feels he must lash out for fear of discovering that his whole imaginary world is just that: fiction.

So, Liberals preach “tolerant”, but only tolerance for THEIR viewpoints. Anything else is heresy. Just try confronting a Liberal with the facts about global warming and he’ll practically start foaming at the mouth. The mind of the Liberal cannot acknowledge that a Conservative is right because the fuzzy Liberal mind is like a shaky house of cards. If the Liberal realizes he’s wrong about one thing, it totally destroys their whole imagined reality he has constructed for himself.

So when Liberals scream, use profanities or insults, like threatened children when you talk about FOX News, or Rush Limbaugh, it is because their brains are not wired to accept contradictory information. I read extensively; both from the Left and the Right. I put my beliefs to the test by really checking if they are based on fact, evidence, and not just conjecture and a psychological construct.

Liberals cannot do this. It would destroy their carefully-crafted dream world existence.
