Jay – Yes. That has what to do with my question?
Andrew H – Fine, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and North Ireland. Now I’d appreciate you guys calling this country the ‘United States’ not America. America is comprised of 22 different countries.
Tricky Republican – I’m a liberal you moron. Does that mean I’m not allowed to ask this question?
Is today's Conservative take over of England a sign of what's to come for the US 2012 elections?

Britain’s conservatives are more liberal than America’s Democrats.
I think Obama has enough supporters that will crawl out of the woodwork in 2012 to ensure he is reelected.
No connection at all…
Our country is called the United Kingdom. England is only one part of it.
And the Conservatives only have a minority government. They are dependent on the support of the Liberal Democrats. The members of both those parties hate each other.
Update: You people call yourselves American. You call your country America. Our country is not in any way, shape or form called "England" and I am not in any way shape or form "English".
I hope not. I love Obama.
Absolutely. Any democrat who thinks the Repubs are not going to sweep in november is in a state of denial.
I don’t see a large connection (Labour was in power the same time as George Bush), but it could be recognition that socialist principles helped place the world in this economic mess in the first place, and it is what destroyed Greece and the Soviet Union.
The government policy of encouraging and allowing potential subprime borrowers to have money to buy things they could never normally afford is clearly socialist, and state manipulation of the natural economic process. It was this that caused the domino effect.
Didn’t we fight a couple of wars to get away from England?
Not hardly with the missteps of the GOP, inept leadership from Michale Steele, the divisive nature of the Tea Party; and the Republicans will to eat their own. The Utah US Senator race this past weekend was a big mistake.
Its becoming clear to the world that the idealistic Utopians have lead us down the primrose path to disaster (yet again). It’s time to go back to the tried and true values that ushered in the greatest era of prosperity that the world has ever known….Free market capitalism.
It’s funny! Normally, US "Conservatives" say "we don’t give a cr@p about other countries"
But NOW that UK Conservatives have won, NOW all of a sudden American "Conservatives" DO care about what happens in other countries
They can’t make up their simple little minds
They blow with the wind
No, as we’ve been out of sync since Bush swiped the election.
You’re just voting out people for the same reason we voted out the Republicans in 2008. It has less to do with a desire for conservatism than a feeling that the current bums were doing something wrong.
Yes becuase england and the us are the same country just different time zones. When we get that time time zone we will conservative will win and we will bomb the crap out of someone else.
The conservatives failed to get a majority in Great Britain they did not take over anything.
you fall again into their trap divising the poeple left dems-right reps.
Care the new world order handle both side especially visible with Bush;as long as you will not fire the Fed you will remain slaves of bankers who use to promouve with your money their candidate.
