these current federal (socialist) programs, social security, medicare, medicaid, food stamps, WIC nutrition, national parks, postal service, public schools, public libraries, police and fire departments, garbage and sewer, public highways, public transit, port authority, public health, veterans benefits, pell grants, subsidized housing, and the FDIC to name a few. I imagine so because the left would continue to fight to hide these things in other bills (see healthcare monstrosity) and get them reinstated and the right would campaign on keeping it from happening.
