1 set of grandparents came from Eastern Europe, Ukraine. The other set came from Hungry. This was in 1890 – 1910. Both my parents were born in Manhattan, NYC.
Me, I was born in the foreign country called Brooklyn. Religion: Jewish.
My entire family are Democrats. My mother was a Democrat County Committee member. In 1964 I graduated HS. I went to the DNC Convention in Atlantic City that summer as a "Young Citizens for Johnson." Early in my sophomore year in college I started questioning the world of politics. It seemed to me that the Dems were more interested in using the taxpayer’s money to buy votes from the unproductive members of society. I knew that was wrong. That’s when I discovered that I was more of a fiscal conservative than anything else.
Now the Dems are even worse than they were in the 1960s. The Reps are almost as bad. That’s why I’ve joined the Tea Party movement. They want to restore Constitutional government to the USA. It’s the only way to go that leaves any hope for an economically strong country that still supports the rights guaranteed to us under the Constitution.
