Below is a notice to Cleveland County residents for a public hearing for first time home buyer mortgages. As I understand, these bonds are going to be bought by Freddie Mac® with tax payer’s money. This is just another example of how our government is out of control with our money.
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CLEVELAND COUNTY HOME LOAN AUTHORITY
SINGLE FAMILY MORTGAGE REVENUE BONDS
Public Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held on December 17, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. at the offices of the Cleveland County Home Loan Authority at 201 S. Jones, Suite 200, Cleveland County Courthouse, Norman, Oklahoma on behalf of (i) the Cleveland County Home Loan Authority, (ii) Cleveland County, Oklahoma (iii) the McClain County Economic Development Authority and (iv) McClain County, Oklahoma for the purpose of giving interested persons an opportunity to be heard on a proposed plan of finance for the issuance by the Cleveland County Home Loan Authority of not to exceed $25,000,000 in Single Family Mortgage Revenue Bonds (the “Bonds”). Proceeds of the Bonds will provide funds for the plan of finance which involves paying costs of issuance and financing single family home mortgages for residents of Cleveland County, Oklahoma and McClain County, Oklahoma.
The public hearing is required by Section 147(f) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended. Written comments may be submitted to the Cleveland County Home Loan Authority, c/o R. Lindsay Bailey, until December 9, 2009. Questions may be directed to Mr. Bailey at the above address or (405) 329-6600. After the public hearing, the Board of County Commissioners of Cleveland County and Cleveland County Home Loan Authority, as Issuer, will consider final approval of the issuance of the Bonds.
