With formal announcement still to come, campaign files papers with State Ethics Commission
Saying “Todd Lamb has been an exemplary public servant who will be a great Lieutenant Governor,” former United States Senator Don Nickles today announced he would be a Statewide Chairman forthe Todd Lamb for Lt. Governor Campaign. “Not only did Todd work for the people of Oklahoma while on my staff, but he has repeatedly
demonstrated the personal leadership qualities Oklahoma needs,” Nickles continued. Lamb, a former United States Secret Service agent who is currently the State Senate Majority Floor
Leader, has represented the people of Northwest Oklahoma City and Edmond in the State Senate
since 2004. Lamb also served Oklahoma as part of Governor Frank Keating’s staff and currently is general counsel for an Edmond‐based company that provides services for the oil, natural gas and
telecommunications industries. “Todd Lamb has successfully fought for our shared conservative values. He has championed lower
taxes and reforms that are helping create jobs in Oklahoma and is a leading pro‐life legislator. I’m proud to support Todd Lamb for Lt. Governor,” Statewide Chairman Tom Ward, CEO of Sandridge
Energy stated.
“I am truly honored to have men of integrity and values like Don Nickles and Tom Ward to be chairmen of my campaign,”" Todd Lamb said.
“Don Nickles helped usher in the Reagan era of Oklahoma politics and helped set the conservative agenda for more than two decades. Tom Ward is a proven job creator who has demonstrated what
it means to have a servant’s heart by giving back to the community. I believe we all share the same basic values: we need strong families, an economy that rewards innovation and entrepreneurship,
and a government that focuses on protecting our basic rights of life and liberty,” Lamb said. Nickles name was included in the statement of organization filed by the Friends of Todd Lamb
committee today. While Lamb has not yet officially announced for the office of Lt. Governor, these papers were filed today to comply with the spirit and intention of the Oklahoma State Ethics Commission regulations.
