Cleveland County Luncheon Club News

Today at the Cleveland County Republican Club Luncheon in Norman, at the new Hilton Garden Inn, Corporation Commissioner Jeff Cloud talked about Obama and his new energy plan. If Obama gets his way, this is going to cost Oklahoman’s an additional $260.00 a month. Jeff Cloud has proven to be a very popular commissioner. In his last election, he generated the second most Republican votes in our state’s history. Jeff should take a serious look at running for Lt. Governor.

Representative Charles Key spoke today, as well. Charles talked about the 10th Amendment. Charles answered a lot of questions concerning States Rights. You may remember that the Governor vetoed Charles’s 10th Amendment Bill. Apparently, our Governor does not believe in the Constitution. The rumor has it that Representative Key has been approached by a number of different conservative groups across the state to run for Insurance Commissioner. It would be nice to have a true conservative as our Insurance Commissioner.
