Introduction
Carbon dioxide (CO2), and oxygen (O2) are gases of life. God in His wisdom set up a synergism between the living gases of animals and plants. Animals inhale oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide. While plants inhale CO2 and exhale O2 as part of the process of photosynthesis. Without CO2, plants die and man dies. When the atmospheric CO2 levels drops below 200 parts per million (ppm), plants start to die. CO2 has not caused global warming, nor is it a pollutant.
The U.S. House of Representatives Committee of Energy and Commerce, chaired by Henry Waxman, has passed the horrible “Cap and Trade” bill. This bill compels an 80% CO2 reduction, by imposing punitive cap-and-trade restrictions on virtually every hydrocarbon business, motorists, and family. Anything and anyone who uses electricity and/or fossil fuels will be taxed. The National Economic Council puts the tax bite at $1.3 to $3 trillion, which averages out to $4000 to $10,000 per American. Since businesses pass their increased tax cost down to the consumer, everything will cost more, including every item at every store (e.g. Wal-Mart), including food, drink, housing, cars, gasoline, travel, fuels, wood, and raw materials, making America the most toxic place in the world to do business. Of course many businesses will flee America, taking their jobs with them. The bill was so lengthy that chairman Henry Waxman, had not read it all. A TV clip showed a colleague asking him a question about the bill and Waxman answered, he didn’t know but the scientists at the IPCC knew all of the details. This let the cat out of the bag that the UN had written the Bill! IPCC is the International Panel on Climate Control and is a political junk science division of the corrupt UN.
In addition to rationing fuels in an attempt to reduce atmospheric CO2 our government plans to pump CO2 underground. In fact they have already started doing this at an Ethanol plant in Greensville, Ohio. This is extremely expensive and requires drilling holes and compressing CO2 into a liquid. It is insane!
CO2 is not a pollutant. It is a very minor greenhouse gas and may be responsible for only a miniscule increase of the earth’s temperature in the last 150 years. During this time, the CO2 from the burning of fossil fuels added only three percent to the natural CO2 in our atmosphere. We had global warming of the Earth from the early 1800s (the end of “The Little Ice Age”) until 1998, due to a very active Sun, and global cooling since 2002, due to a reduction in solar output. During the last two years glaciers have started advancing, with record breaking cold temperatures and snowfalls. Hundreds to thousands of people froze to death in India, China and Afghanistan. A Russian icebreaker filled with tourists, expecting to see evidence of global warming, were shocked to experience global cooling when they became stuck in the Arctic ice. During the twentieth century when our sun was more active, the increase in ocean temperatures bubbled more CO2 into our atmosphere, which increased crop production and tree growth. We need more CO2 not less, especially if global cooling continues and wipes out useable croplands in Northern U.S. and Europe. CO2 is aerial fertilizer for plants and trees.

No doubt our government is wrapped up in frivlous spending amist this multi trillion dollar loss we all are forced to enjoy. The re-hash of Cartism is around the bend. Our government will have to tax us, on virtuly everthing to pay for all this bailout “we” decided to give these chapter 13 corporations.
Remember to pick your battles, Bob. Global Warming may be a lie but Climate Change is real. As you pointed out with the mini ice age reference and the sun spot yammer. The earth is neatly situated in a zone of life in our solar system. Life is a dynamic place.
Conservatives, Liberals, and all the others should shift these efforts, thoughts, presence of mind away from something we have no controll over (i.e. the weather) and focus all your outstounding rescources towards keeping our government in check.
Still, thank you for making me think this morning.
