Robert L. Cleveland elected Mayor of Slaughterville.The Town of Slaughterville’s Trustees unanimously elected Robert L. (Bobby) Cleveland was Mayor at its regular monthly meeting April 21st. Cleveland will serve a two year term. He has served on the Slaughterville Board of Trustees for the last two years. His election as Mayor continues a family tradition of service; Barbara Cleveland, Bobby’s wife, served as Trustee 10 years ago and his father-in-law served on the Board and as Mayor back in the 1970′s.
Cleveland and his family have lived in the Slaughterville area for the past 40 years. Bobby believes everyone should give back to the community in what ever way they can. Slaughterville is a great place to live and raise your family and to work for. Slaughterville is a community that pulls together and takes care of its citizens.
Bobby also serves on the ACOG Board, the 911 Board, the Garber Wellington Board and he is also Chairman of the Cleveland County Republican Party.
Cleveland has been in business in Norman for the past 37 years.
