Arlen Specter, Good Riddance

Arlen Specter has switched to the Democrat party. That’s not a big surprise – not only was he unpopular with Pennsylvania Republicans, his primary opponent, whoever it would be, was going to get donations from all across the country. He could see that getting past the primary was unlikely. Rather than stand with his principles, he ducks to the Dems. They will love him, if for no other reason, because he was a thorn to Republicans.Of course, he might just get a strong Democrat primary opponent. I would consider donating to that person.
